This week I wanted to keep things simple by just Thanking God and Praising Him for all the things He has done in our life and will do. I thank God for all my trials and tribulations as well because if I did not have to endure those times I would not be the person I am today or know how to navigate through tough times. I thank God for my family as crazy as we are, we stick together no matter what, but we believe in tough love and give it to each other straight whether our opinion was solicited or not. I also thank God for the friends I choose, they are crazy as well so that should tell you a little something about me (hahaha). I thank God for those who oppose me, believe it or not you can learn a lot from adversity it has taught me how to sniff out the fake and phony a thousand miles away. Adversity keeps me on my toes at all times because the devil comes like a thief in the night and try to bring chaos in your life. Now I do not judge anyone who opposes me because it is a reason they are the way they are and since I did not walk on their path with them I'm ignorant to the things they may have endured, but I still keep my distance. We have to be mindful because people who have been hurt sometimes continue the cycle and hurt others.
Let me get back on track and continue to Thank God for providing me everything I ask for and then of course I complain afterwards and Chris will say, "Toya this is what you ask for," and in response I'll look at him and say, "who asked you," the ups and downs of marriage (hahaha). I'm so THANKFUL to GOD for putting Chris in my life (take a picture of this I may not repeat this often (hahaha)), but we kind of balance each other out, but we will get into that another week. I'm so THANKFUL to God for putting our 4 little angels (when they want to be) in our life I have the most caring, loving, smart, crazy, loudest and gorgeous kids, but they can work my nerves. My kids will challenge me more than an adult because they will interrogate me and demand answers that I may not be ready to handle, but they push me out my comfort zone and help me push myself to reach my goals.
I encourage you to stop and really listen to what your kids are saying, that means to keep your mouth close when they are speaking and don’t be so quick to respond you can learn a thing or two from them. I thank God for my loving mother (R.I.P.) I admired my mom she was so beautiful (like me hahaha I'm not conceded, but I can say what I want on our website hahaha), she was goofy, fun to be around, had a smile on her face all the time, and she was really smart so I aspired to be like her, but to be me if that makes sense. Oh yeah, I'm thankful for my crazy brother that's a whole other topic, but we were blessed with my nephew and I wonder if my mom was still here in the physical sense how would our life be with us and her grandchildren?
To wrap things up I want to just say I thank God for helping Chris and I get our marriage on track. Trust and believe it's been one heck of a journey, but that journey has allowed us to create this platform in hopes to inspire and help others. We truly believe everyone need someone they can relate to and that will be open and honest about issues they have endured, which is one of the reason we are doing this. We are lucky to have family and a few of our friends who we can always be transparent with and vice versa in order to be able to support each other. Last, but not least we are so Thankful to God for all of you who have been with us on our journey, who will continue to be with us, and for supporting our website.
